Bringing down language barriers at high level JVSZ forum
On Thursday, 22 June 2017, Albion Languages will provide Hungarian to English interpreting at a business forum hosted by the Joint Venture Association of Hungary (JVSZ).
Albion interpreter, Szilárd Kővári, will be behind the scenes giving simultaneous, real-time interpreting of speeches from Mihály Varga, Minister of National Economy, and Péter Tálos, President of the JVA and General Manager of Foxconn Hungary. His HU-EN interpreting will also allow English-speaking attendees to take part in round-table discussions covering business and economic issues.
Attendees will include JVA partners, such as the British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary, the French-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Austrian Embassy Commercial Department, SwissCham, the Netherlands-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce, the Danish Business Club, the Belgian Business Club in Hungary and the Magyarok a Piacon Klub.
Albion Languages was delighted to provide interpreting for the Joint Venture Association’s business forum. We would like to thank the Joint Venture Association for a wonderful lunch, and an exceedingly useful discussion with Mihály Varga, Minister of National Economy. Albion interpreter, Szilárd Kővári, did an outstanding job providing simultaneous, real-time interpreting from Hungarian into English. Throughout discussions on the Hungarian economy and the state of the European Union, and questions from local business owners, Szilárd was able to proficiently handle the complex business terminology to deliver a flawless English translation for all following the proceedings on headphones. It is always a pleasure to help businesses and international embassy members actively participate in JVSZ forums, and we sincerely look forward to attending the next JVSZ event.
